I am one third of the administration team here at Maraenui School. I have worked here for the past 11 years and I absolutely love my job. It is both challenging and rewarding at the same time.
Maraenui School is moving in a new direction with the employment of our current principal Chris Worsley mid-2015 and a number of new staff who have joined us along the way. Iam excited to be part of a team who embrace whakawhanaungatanga.

I am a 2nd generation ex Maraenui School student, Māmā of 6, Nan to 1 mokoboy, born in Napier, grew up in Maraenui for majority of my life. All my children have come through the kura and at present my two youngest attend.I have been employed at kura for the last 5 years, starting off as a teacher aide, then over time becoming a"jack of all trades". I have spent 3 years in the school Lunch bar,and as of 2019 running the Clothing Store in between helping in admin when needed, also I am Chairman of the school PTA.
Maraenui School has always been my favourite school, from when I was a youngan and attended, I love coming to work, I love my kura whānau, this place is and will always be my home away from home. KoLea Moa ahau.
